Hi,

This is a customer to customer forum so we don't know when the update will be released

O2 does not tell us.

You just have to be patient I'm afraid, sorry.

O2 are always the last of the networks to release any updates. You should buy from an independent retailer (Phones4U or CPW) or use Flashtool now to put the generic Sony firmware on your phone.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

This question is repeatedly shown across the forum for different handsets.

In simple terms, if you have a SIM FREE (not unlocked) phone then you will receive updates shortly after the manufacturer releases them.

If you have a phone locked to a network (or previously unlocked I believe) then the networks test the update against their own software on the handset to make sure it all works ok before releasing to their customers. They do this as they add their own software and also to make sure all is working as it should as they don't want lots of unhappy customers.

O2 will release in batches as soon as the update is therefore ready.
