downloading images from media message

I have images in a media message sent by text that I need to download to save in my Google Drive.  The first media message I recieved gave me this option but the second one did not. I need to send the images to an email address but I can only forward them to a mobile number.  Any ideas?

Hi,

It might vary depending on what device and software version but with my Samsung S2 running 4.1.2 I can do either of the following:

When viewing a thread and come across an MMS entry, hold finger on the image insert/text and a menu pops up.  There's an option to Save attachment

or

Tap to view an MMS message, press the menu button and I can press Save attachment
