Solved: Re: connecting to home wi fi if not O2

Can anyone help me connect to my home wifi (its virgin media, not o2). I have submitted the pass phrase for my virgin box - it says connecting but there are other O2 wireless connections listed on my phone also. I can't tell if when using my phone at home I am doing it through my virgin media wifi or through O2 and its using up my monthly allowance. Thank you

Go into settings and then enter the wifi tab. Your phone will say connected next to one of the SSID's.

Turn off data on your phone and there cannot be a charge, log into the Virgin Media Box to check the SSID or download InSSIDer to check you are connecting to your own router.
