Solved: Text to Multimedia problem

I have a Samsung Galaxy S 1900Gt.

Wonder whether you could help with the following, seen the o2 Guru a few times and it has been fixed, but, after a few weeks it reverts back to the same problem. There is a way to increase text output, but I can not remember how they did it.

My Question is:-

Why are my text messages converting to multimedia after inserting just 16 lines of text only.

The stock android message app automatically converts anything over 480 characters into an MMS. The only way you can control this is to send less characters per message or download a 3rd party app off Play - something like Go SMS for example.
