Try network selection and force the phone onto a different network. It will fail but then select O2 again and try it.

I have had this issue for days. I have been told there is a network issue but they may not fix it even by the end of the week! The sms system seems to be working in batches only. I had service after lunch today but not again now. Maybe there will be another text window before midnight.I'm holding my breath and hoping. (the network manual switch doesn't seem to make any difference although it should)
