Hi,

 

I got a new HTC one m8 a few days ago, and I can make calls, browse the internet and receive text messages. However I can not send any! When I click send it just says message failed. I have checked the message service number and that is correct. I have also tried taking SIM out and restarting phone, and no resolution. Anyone got any ideas?

Were you always with o2 or did you port in from another network?
Its not uncommon for issues like this to happen with people coming from Orange.

Can you tell us what message centre number you have? Have you got the + sign in front of it.

Try texting ACTIVE to 2020 again, save the settings again and reboot the phone.

Yes the message service number is right, I went into the shop and they tried changing my SIM and handset and still the same. They then phoned o2 Nd apparantly it's a problem they are having with some phones and its their top priority 😞
