Zero Area Coverage

Anonymous

I have moved to an area with virtually zero O2 coverage recently, but have 2 contract phones now sitting idle in a drawer. This area is 40 only miles from Glasgow, so what are my options in cancelling my contracts?( Run out May 2014)

Usually you are advised to check coverage of any services you require prior to moving.

One of your options would be if you have wi-fi at home to use the TuGo app

When using the coverage checker does it tell you that you should have coverage?

Not without a cancellation fee.

Your decision to move I'm afraid.

Also viber and what's app are useful alternatives.

You could sell the handsets and use the funds raised to help pay off the early termination fee which is the amount of months left to run minus any bolt ons ,and insurance.

Try removing the sim and clean it. Also if possible switch to 2g to see if that improves anything.
