Xperia Z2 first major update :)

Hey Guys

New to the forums!

Im aware sony have released the first big software update for the z2 and unlocked handests get the update straight away however i know when you have a device thats locked by the network they have to approve the update first before we can download it. My question is in your experiance how quick are o2 at testing and releasing these updates once they get them? I left t-mobile when the S3 was out due to them taking months and months to release even small updates that unlcoked handests recieved months before hand.

gosh that was wordy sorry

Thank you wink

I actually bought myself an iPad Air late last year and think it is a great piece of kit. The thing is my wife and taken control of it and I hardly ever get a look at it now so I thought another tablet was required and it made sense to hedge my bets and get an Android tablet.

The Z2 tablet is a lovely piece of kit but the touch screen problems are a real pain so am really hoping for a quick release of the new firmware.

Cheers

Graham

Similar.

I bought the iPad Mini Retina and my partner loved it, so I gave her it and bought the iPad Air.

Looks like Sony might be playing around with a new firmware revision too.
17.1.2.A.0.189 has been spotted on a D6502 (3G) device. If it's due for D6503 too, the minor change in build number suggests it could be a minor bug fixing update.
