When will Z1 ship?

Can an O2 employee confirm the day that the Z1 will ship out? (Not to be confused with the release date)

O2 seem adept at lowering their customers expectations to cripplingly low levels.

My order is now marked as completed by O2 despite UKMail not receiving any consignment, in other words, O2 are lying or UKMail are lying.

What a farce eh!

it's a joke really - considering people on other forums are ordering their handsets today from Clove, with a guaranteed delivery for tomorrow.

It's O2 telling lies as UK Mail have not received anything from them.

As soon as they receive it it's scanned into their systems.

O2 simply have not dispatched anything.

I think I'll cancel my order if it's not passed to UKMail today, this all feels confusing and frankly dishonest.

Surely - O2 should have a more adept system than to send out emails to everyone that's pre-ordered saying that your phone is on its way - switch them to their new tariff - and actually it appears that no-one's got a clue as to what's going on!

The only thing I'm sure of is that my current phone has no data connection and that I'm now being billed for my new tariff.

Sort it out O2 !

In all fairness to both O2 and UKMail, it is entirely possible the phones will be collected this afternoon and processed for delivery tomorrow morning. Highly unlikely, but possible.

I maintain that it is simply poor judgement on O2's behalf when they decided to send out 'dispatched' emails when the orders' haven't actually been collected yet.

Not willing ti give O2 any credit thus far. Their "guru" simply lied to me telling me it HAD been dispatched and was on it's way to the address I gave them.

This was false.

The only people who have told the truth really are UK Mail - the truth being they have not received the device from O2.

O2 have messed up - they have said they will credit me with the days I could not use my account due to not having the device ( as they started billing me from yesterday... )

The guy in sales I spoke to at least confirmed nothing was sent and it would not be delivered until AT LEAST launch date, 20th.

So make of this what we will...

Thanks for the updates even though this now leaves me with a bit of a sour taste with O2. I too am now being billed for somthing I don't have and limited service on my old phone. The link works yay and too shows awaiting collection..... It's really annoying when I saw some places received their xperias today (black) and are posting them out now so other people will have theirs tomorrow! Just to clarify clove may not be next day - I think people are being estimated 1-2 days.  So may well fall in with the Friday launch as well?
