Using Smartswitch Galaxy Note 4 to Galaxy Note 7

When I receive the new Note 7 I want to use Smartswitch to transfer my contacts, apps/games and music from the Note 4 I have presently. Two questions:

1. In using Smartswitch will my progress be saved in my games?

2. When I got my Note 4 all my apps/games automatically downloaded which was great. But I lost all my progress in my games. Assuming using Smartswitch will save games' progress is there any way I can prevent automatic downloads to new Galaxy Note 7?

Any advice/assissitance would be gratefully received and appreciated

1. Only if they are saved in Google game cloud backup.
2. Allow the auto download, check with each game developer or forum on "transferring saves" it may be a case of just backing up save files from the note 4 then pasting them into the correct location on Note7.
Generally speaking, your save is either gonna be a single file on device, or a cloud backup which will load after a certain point (normally after introduction levels)
99% of games saves tho, CAN be transferred one way or the other.

Quick google of smartswitch and game progress gives the link http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/support/skp/faq/1094130
This says that game data will not be transferred.
The only app that would do something like this that I can think of is Titanium Backup, but that requires root access to the phone - not really useful in your situation.
It might be some other community member knows how...

I see @MI5 is offline. Maybe @viridis who plays games on his phone or @jonsie could help?

Thank you I thought this might be the case but appreciate the confirmation. Think it best to wait for receipt of Note 7 and take it from there. I intend to give a review of Note 7 after I have had a play with it. I am so excited and can't wait to get my hands on it.😆
