Using / Loosing small amounts of data daily

Anonymous

Xperia 1L

New data for the month recently started

Small amounts of data being used daily off monthly allowance ... ... ... as far as I'm aware I've been using WiFi because the fan symbol shows on my phone's home screen

Is this because I use emoji in text messages?

I am just curious ... = ... it won't stop me using emoji ... = ... texting is only 1 way I communicate with friends / family

I do use Messenger ... I was on WhatsApp on my pevious phone but didn't use it & arn't going to use it now

Thank you

No, nothing to do with emojis.

Data saver is off

Mobile data is on

491.83MB ... 25 days left on Pay Monthly ... plenty of data for me unless like last month when playing with new phone in pub forgot all about signing in to pub's WiFi ... so ... all data used up very quickly

I do try to only use WiFi when fan symbol is showing at top of home screen - lesson learned from above activity last month

Turn data off when on wifi, you can still make calls/send texts without it on
