Hello, over the past few days I have been unable to connect to https websites when using data. Everything else works and I can connect to them over wifi but when using data it comes up with an error page "unable to establish secure connection".

samsung galaxy s2, gingerbread.

and therein lies your problem.

GB is no longer supported by HTTPS so you need at least ICS on the phone.

"Could" be - Some servers don't like it if the time is wrong or esp if on Auto Update of Date and Time on Windows phones, for some reason.......?

samsung galaxy s2, gingerbread. Worked fine til recently. No idea if anything changed. I tried googling the error but other responses were not applicable to my case, eg one of them said about a t-mobile change on the data usage where you have to go into your account online and take off the content restriction for under 18. I checked my account with O2 and my dob is correct (I'm 26) and there's no option for content security like they have on t-mobile.
