My S7 edge, for some reason, rebooted itself and the phone was left on the Samsung screen so I rang O2 up and they said I needed a replacement which I got today, I noticed that the seal had been opened so I contacted them again, they told me I would need another replacement phone which should come in 3-4 days, JEEEZ. If you could just remove the battery the problem could have been resolved in 10 seconds, anyone else had this problem?

Samsung are laughable, I'd rather give £900+ to charity and I have, Dove House Hospice, Hull.

The guy told me how to do a soft reset which I did but he also told me you can only do it once with the phone then offered me a replacement, I just wanted to know why the seal was broken on the first replacement, could of it been a reconditioned phone that someone else has sent back?

At least you're getting the phone replaced. The fact that you can't remove the battery is something you'd have to take up with Samsung. If enough customers complain, you never know. They did reintroduce sd cards due to customer pressure.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

You just press and hold the power button for 10 seconds which performs a soft reset - the same as removing a battery.

I know its a bit late now but here is a guide on hard and soft resets. These can often resolve freezing issues like pulling the battery would.

Probably one that had already been returned due to the seal being broken Weird

Why can you only do 1 soft reset?
