I have a Nexus 4 phone and a Nexus 7 tablet (both not locked to any provider).
I want to tether the two so the tablet uses the phone connection.
O2 help says its possible but doesn't take me any further.
How do I do it?
Are there any reasons why I shouldn't?

Hi PeterJ42 .
As long as you have a recent pay monthly tariff with a data bolt-on then you can go ahead and tether.
Usually the option is found in Wireless & Networks, simply set a name for the hotspot and a password.
On your tablet just follow your normal route for joining a wireless network.
I would make good use of any data counter / usage facility your device has as you may find spending a bit of time on the tablet could shatter your allowance.
(sorry for not being too specific on where to go, the Nexus is not a sought after device round here and to be honest I have never had to get one out of the box).
Hope this helps.
