I am looking to purchase a 4G router for a caravan. It will need a sim card.

As we only use the caravan once or twice a month, can my 02 sim card be used in the 4G router? (Saving the purchase as a second sim card). Is this tethering?

Thanks

Unless it is a portable router with it's own battery then using a phone SIM is against the Terms and Conditions

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Tethering is turning on the hot spot feature on your phone and connecting other devices to that @Xplorer304

You could look at a pay as you go data sim card? That way you can top it up when you need it?
