Wifi bug should be addressed in 4.2 update which I heard today will be released by Samsung (for unbranded handsets) in December (this year) wink

Its about time the phone manufacturers got together, turned round to the networks & stop them messing with the phone software.

I hate network branded handsets, i've yet to find one where there isnt bugs in the software.

actually it's software conflicts.

a few forums have covered this and suggested a reset straight after the update.

the coming 4.2 update is meant to fizz a few bugs including the WiFi bug and battery drain.

so long as Samsung n networks get their arse in gear there should be 1 before crimbo and one in Q1

I still get WiFi probs (no it's not on power save mode) still cutting in n out. roaming data even with a H+ in the top is slow.

however I noticed I'm still on iPhone data! awaiting a call today to change it to normal.

but otherwise all is good.
