Two phones, both on O2.

Original is a Windows phone, latest is a Galaxy A20.

Each is a separate O2 phone number.

Can I swap the Sim cards over without losing any data ?

Windows phone is easiest to use, finding the Galaxy is more complex so would like to revert to the Windows phone for normal phone calls in and out. TM

Hi @TM2711

You can swap sim cards between devices no problem at all.

The Data now stays on the phone the sim came from.

Just so you know, Windows Phone is now End of Life and is no longer supported at all by Networks / Microsoft.

The app store is also being turned off at some point, and apps aren't being maintained, and some of the bigger apps may be missing.

It's a real pity that Windows phones are no longer supported (sadly never were fully supported for apps), but for business integration, they were unbeatable.
Loved my 950, one of the best phones I ever had.

The data stays with the sim surely @madasaf1sh ?

I guess that depends on which data we are talking about and whether the customer has saved any data to the sim or the phone.

Difficult to give an accurate answer without knowing more details.....

@jonsie

Any data (contacts or SMS) saved to the sim move, all other data (content, apps) stays on the device 🙂
