Sony Xperia z3 released early to compete with iphone?

Certain rumors started a few days ago regarding vodafone Germany and the z3.
Rumor had it that they had xperia z3 in stock and would ship early to pre orders.
Vodafone Germany customers have today received tracking info and will receive the phone on Monday along with a free pair of Bluetooth headphones (called it) valued at €199.
Seriously, o2 get some pricing.

I think the Moto X 2014 will be the Z3's competition. Same size screen, but the Z3's specs look slightly better. It will be interesting to see how they'll compare in price.

I still have 2 StarTAC's (one O2 and one Orange as they were different) and 3 Razr's in different colours

I had orange starTac because, well because back then orange payg was significantly cheaper.
And 3 RAZR's including the uber dolce and gabanna gold one (which I modified by splitting the shell so it was black an gold)
