Samsung S6 and 4G

Hi Everyone

I've just bought a new S6 but it does not show a symbol/logo at the top to let me know 4G is enabled. It did on my S4 so is this correct as in settings it says auto connect? Is there a way I can check if 4G is enabled please or am I just being a bit thick!

Just checked it out and there isn't an icon in the notifications panel Thanks for your help guys I'll phone O2

Let us know how you get on. Bear in mind that you need to switch off wifi to get the icon.

I see now that's worked thanks Jonsie! One more quick question please Does that mean that my phone will automatically switch to 4G if needed?
By the way Jonsie was my late husband's nickname too not surprising really! And my nephew has just moved from backpacking in Thailand to Aus

Your phone will always find the best signal....be it from 4G or 3G @Anonymous

Yes it will. Even with wifi on, when you leave home and there is no wifi signal you will automatically be connected to the strongest network signal seamlessly and the strength of that signal will show as 4G, H+ or 3G in the notification bar.
