Samsung S2 factory reset

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've just carried out a factory reset, and I'm trying to set the phone up again. I've typed in my gmail account, but when it comes to the "2-step verification" I can't get out of it to see the text message with the code on. Even if I ask for a voice call I don't get one. I can tell I've been sent a text message with the code, as the phone vibrates. Help me before I go mad, please.

Sussed it out myself.

Don't go through all that sign in nonsense first. Cancel everything and wait until you're into the phone, and then set it up afterwards.

What a faff!!!

or you can temp turn off 2 step verification on your PC before resetting the phone then you will just have to log in once on the set up screen.
