Update 22/10, 8:00:

Samsung has confirmed the Jelly Bean update is now available.

Update 20/10:

As you might have noticed, this hasn't gone live yet. We were expecting it to on Friday and are working with Samsung to figure out what went wrong and will update ASAP.

Original message:

Hey Guys,

Good news! The wait time is almost over for Samsung Galaxy SIII users. From tomorrow, 19th October '12, you'll be be able to upgrade to the much awaited 4.1 Jelly Bean update over Wi-Fi or via Kies.

If you have activated the 'auto-update' feature from out of box, you will be prompted to download the 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

JB

Nothing definate yet Billy but they have started today on some European countries. Usually the countries with the lowest users first as a "test" then if all ok they'll push the button for the bigger markets. I would expect either later this week or early next....

Best to hard remove.... also look for temp kies codes in DOWNLOADS. Search Dora kies files and press delete.

Then go back to Samsung to download kies again.

Hopefully this will work for you.

Also make sure ur fone is on and awake

How do you do this?

@MI5: No, not necessarily, just wanted to highlight it because it's sometimes easy to forget that not everyone always understands what they're doing. slight_smile
