Pixel and WiFi calling

Is there any reason the only device WiFi calling is supported on is Samsung? Samsung, in theory, has the same if not very similar OS to the pixel/other androids but it's only supported on Samsung device.

It's only on phones that O2 sell and support so as they don't support the Pixel it will be way down the list, if on it at all.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Cleoriff I was more referring to the android device list, I know others were compatible thanks. The pixel/xl should already be compatible, it is on EE and the pixel/XL isn't exactly a new phone anymore

Is this a new feature? I have to scroll up within the message to view it. It doesn't show as in the quote.... or maybe it's my phone which yesterday updated to Nougat 7.0

@jonsieDo you mean the way my post printed it out? I was surprised because instead of posting the image of devices.... I just copied and pasted the list from the thread I linked to...It came out with a bit of a blue tinge...Dance

PS The link didn't post either. It was this one https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling?cm_mmc=googleuk-_-PPC_Direct_Handsets-_-Handse...
