O2 Open Discount Scheme

Anonymous
Not applicable
Can anybody provide an honest answer regarding whether they think or now of the O2 Open Discount Code being applied to the new Samsung Flagship, the Galaxy Note 7 within its first 28 Days of launch? Not sure whether to risk pre-ordering at the last minute to take advantage if both the promotion and discount? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance guys/gals 😉

All we can say is that usually they are excluded for a period of time, but how long is anyone's guess.

Hi @Anonymous I doubt you will be able to apply it immediately. If I remember correctly it was a few months when the latest flagship phones were released before you could ask for Open

The whole issue is about maximising profits. When top of the range phones are released, O2 can sell them all for the biggest margins and in recent years Open has only been allowed after a few months or in the case of iphones, some 6 months after release. I wouldn't expect to see it applied in the first month of purchase in all honesty.

Didn't want to solve this myself? lol I pressed @MI5 's post about keeping an eye on the T&C's as the solution, so for that I thank you 😉 I'm guessing I now can't change the highlighted solution either?

Would also wish to thank @jonsie, @Anonymous and @Cleoriff, much obliged 👍
