Note 4 vs LG G4 - Plus are Lollipop issues on Note 4 solved?

I can upgrade my S4 in a couple of weeks, and I keep changing my mind between the Note 4 and LG G4. I know all the specs and have read many reviews of both, and have made a list of pros and cons of both.

One of the cons of the Note 4 is that I've read many people are having problems with Lollipop, but as the G4 comes with 5.1 out of the box I'm more inclined to go for that. There are plus points to the Note 4 though such as a slightly larger screen, fingerpring reader, already an excellent reputation, and the biggest thing for me is that it'll probably be cheaper than the G4 (not on O2 maybe but other places have the Note 4 for a lot less).

So what is the general opinion on the 5.0 or 5.01 update for the Note 4 now? Are people still having problems after doing a factory reset and clearing the cache? If I know this isn't going to be an issue then I think the Note 4 will be the better phone for me, taking everything into account.

Thanks for any help/opinions.

Lollipop is fine,
I'm on 5.0.2 and it's as fluid as can be.

Thanks for your replies, that's all good to know that Lollipop will be ok. What do you think about the LG G4 as an alternative? My only main issue with getting the Note 4 is that it's getting a bit long in the tooth (as phones go anyway!) and being a geek, I struggle not having the most up to date. I know it's all in my head really of course. slight_smile The only thing better about the G4 is probably the camera, but I don't care about that as the Note 4's camera is just about as good if you ignore the sales hype on the G4's camera.

The Note 4 is so much more than just a phone.
No comparison in my mind.....
