Hi
Decided to upgrade my Note 2 to a Note 4 on Christmas Eve... All looked good until I started to initiate and receive calls. I get call drop outs with the signal bar never going higher than one bar. Changed the SIM but still have the issue. Anyone had this?

I'm on DTAC here in Thailand and make/receive around 30 calls a day with no problems. Never had a problem with EE either before I came here.

I'm trying to keep my alcoholism a secret....
My name is jonsie and I've been sober for around 4 minutes!
On that Note (see what I did there:smileywink:) I'm officially asleep

Hi
Here is a quick update -
Since changing the SIM I haven't had a call drop out.
Mobile data on, Data Roaming off, and Network was not not set to Auto .
The signal bar stays at the lowest level ( see img) all the time but as soon I as connect I see the the level increases. SInce this has happended on every call made or received, I am assuming this is normal operation. .
I will keep testing as I know the window to change the phone is now just over a week
Now Data Roaming is on ( I am assuming I need this if out and about unless someone tells me otherwise), and Network mode set to Auto.

I would turn off NFC if you don't use it.
Thanks @Anonymous, good call: it is now off. BTW I saw an Article on AnroidPit regarding common things that all note 4 users should do when they first get the phone such as disable that annoying flipboard desktop option. Perhaps there should be a similar post on here to enable max security and features but wth the least drain on the battery. Just a thought.

Just and update. Post SIM change, I have had no call dropouts in any call I have participated in inc a 1 hour work related conference call I received this morning. So far nothing to warrant changing what is a really good phone. I have more calls to recieve and intiatate so will keep testing as my window for change is less than a week now but so far so good....
