Note 4 keeps dropping calls

Anonymous

Hi

Decided to upgrade my Note 2 to a Note 4 on Christmas Eve... All looked good until I started to initiate and receive calls.  I get call drop outs with the signal bar never going higher than one bar. Changed the SIM but still have the issue. Anyone had this?

Daniel

Not that you'll need it. 😄

Interesting thought. Say my old Note 2 if this would work.

Your old Note 2 will be fine to check if it's a network fault or indeed the Note 4 problem. Personally I would get the phone exchanged.

Whatever you do you need to do it quickly. I wish you good luck in sorting it out. I'm finding the Note 4 excellent for call quality and dependability but there again, I'm not using it on O2....

Please do feed back on the outcome. I would be interested to know if this a handset issue, a sim card issue or as @jonsie has hinted at, an o2 issue given that he has no issues on EE with his Note 4.

It would be good if we could rule out the reason by a process of elimination Nick.

@jonsie  has no problems with his Note 4.......but not on O2

I don't think @MI5  does either...??

Though Adrianna's husband does.. (not sure of their networks though??)

Very true @Cleoriff

I am not on EE's forums so I will assume it isn't all rosy over there either but for those on here using EE having left o2 due to poor signal they do appear to be much happier.

One day maybe o2 will listen........ If they haven't been taken over by Three or Sky by then.

I've not had any dropped calls with mine on O2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
