Line activated. You have a balance. 4G internet works but it gives an error when receiving calls and error when sending them. (call canceled) I'm in Spain.

Or save yourself all that bother and buy a local PAYG sim. Plenty to choose from if your phone is unlocked. (It will be, if bought after 2018)

You do not have anyone in the UK to send it to?

If that's the case, you need to buy a Spanish sim and use that.

@jb3  it's a Pay As You Go sim. All Spanish phone shops sell them. They will also set it up for you.
