Samsung have just released I9300XXEMB1 (BTU). It appears to still be 4.1.2 which will lbe the third UK release of pretty much the same firmware. Can't find any details or changelog at the moment but will post back if I find anything.

Will I have to perform a factory reset afterwards?

Shouldn't have to as it's only a patch, however, if you have any problems it's always the first thing to do to try and resolve. I'm well please with battery life on this last update. It's put JB back to where I was with ICS slight_smile

Anyone have a change log? First impressions are good though, seems a lot smoother.

Just bug fixes and a change to the amount of RAM required by some apps.... Nothing major.

As previously posted....

I too have noticed a much better battery life, everything seems a little smoother as well. Play music isn't as good as it could have been (maybe introduce instant mix into app next time!) and magazines aren't for me but the overall performance has definetly improved!
