Lied to in store?

Hi there, employees at my company receive a 30% discount. That's the only reason I came to 02. The guy in store said he had applied it 'manually' because there was a problem with findining the company's name. I called on Friday and was told its not been done. I'm really annoyed. Why lie about it? What's the complaints process?

These discounts are to be applied within 30 days of starting contract...so if you aren't getting it as expected you really need to speak to O2 CS..

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community.

 

I am sorry that you are having trouble setting up your employee discount.

 

I believe there are 2 issues here.  Firstly your discount was not applied and secondly you believe that you were lied to.

 

With regards to the discount not being applied, I remember a similar thread regarding O2 discount not long ago and @MI5 was able to give the OP a link regarding discount (I am unable to find the link sorry).

 

With regards to you being unhappy and feeling that you were lied to, you can raise a complaint with O2 by following this link: http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain/complain

Hi @Anonymous 

 

You can have the discount applied manually like the store said. The discount only gets applied from the second bill. How many bills have you had produced?

Thanks all. Very helpful online chat. Its now been applied. The complaints been forwarded on to someone. Not sure why that couldn't have been done when I called, but hey 😉
