Hi, I renewed my contract with O2 a few months ago, this was done over the phone. Throughout the conversation I made clear that I was NHS staff and would like to apply for the discount. I don't appear to getting this yet. Can anyone offer any advice?

Did you get the code and apply for the discount as per the instructions here? http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-Services/O2-Open-and-Friends-and-Family-Discount-Schemes...
Some have also said that you can't get discount if you do the deal online or on phone, but I have it on 2 of my accounts that were taken online so it does work, but maybe depends on who processes it within O2?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

As I understand it this should have been done at the start of contact....or within 30 days.

You will need to contact customer services on 202 (or go into an O2 store) to explain this and see if anything can be done

You needed to apply for the code on the website and have it applied within the first  month. I'm not sure why you weren't told but you will have to speak to customer service to see if they will help you. If not consider using the complaint link at the foot of the page. You should have been getting 30% off the airtime if on Refresh.

Hi @Anonymous

When you renewed your contract over the phone and mentioned the discount what was the adviser's response?
