Keeping old number

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi I recently got a contact phone with a new SIM card but wanted to keep my old number. I filled out the keep your number fourm on the 02 website and 02 emailed me saying they were going to be doing it in the next 1-4 working hours and would send me 2 texts to update me. It's been nearly 6 hours and I haven't had a text from them or has my number been changed? Anybody help??? Thanks.

This is the process to sim swap here http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/
Once it has started you need to keep restarting your new phone every half hour to force the change through.
It can take up to 24 hours to complete though fully.
