Currently Samsung have released it for China and Spain (open phones). The UK release has not started yet but it is expected very soon. You can track the progress here http://www.sammobile.com/2013/01/23/samsung-rolls-out-android-4-1-2-jelly-bean-update-to-the-galaxy-...

JB is already released for some phones and months away (or maybe never) for others. Crystal ball has failed so don't know what phone you have but either way the initial release is controlled by the handset manufacturer, then O2 will test and brand it before rolling it out (assuming you have an O2 branded phone, but my crystal ball doesn't tell me that either) wink

Apologies, ...I'd attempted to add a reply to another thread (whilst on my phone), and managed to mess it up. Anyway, .... title, content and signature edited now, so it should make more sense.

Cheers for the info MI5,

I'll hold off rooting with a new ROM for now, (still on contract), but shall be considering it after I'm free from risk of wrecking my guarantee.

The ''Guru'' assured me we had only weeks to wait, rather than months, so I'll wait patiently to see if it's true Smiley Indifferent
