When is O2 going to set up wifi calling for the Huawei range of phones.

 

We keep getting reports that it is happening imminently but nothing so far......very frustrating for me as I have no signal where I live and I miss important calls quite frequently...

It's also frustrating to note that all the other networks support it except O2 - I've checked this by inserting payg sim cards in my huawei and bingo...there it appears.

 

Speaking with O2 they tell me its a Huawei issue.....come on stop fobbing me off and get your finger out and sort this very necessary feature out.

@Stevie43uk  I will tag one of our admin @Chris_K who is the go to person on these matters.

Worse comes to worst, if the issue isn't resolved, vote with your wallet and switch to a provider who supports WiFi calling on your phone.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

My apologies, but I've no further updates I'm afraid. We continue working with Huawei to bring this feature to the device, but don't have any ETA or further info to share at this stage.

As soon as there's news, i'll let everyone know.
