Htc one m8 dot view

Anonymous
Not applicable
I recently purchased the htc one m8 and then also bought a dot view case from amazon. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on my phone although my case works on my girlfriends phone as she has the one m8 as well. Has anyone else had issues before with it and were you able to fix it?

Backup, factory reset.
if still not working, needs to be fixed by HTC as the sensor is broken

If you bought it on Amazon, just ask for a replacement. Amazon are really good about things like that.

I would then suggest you contact HTC support. They would be best placed to help you.

Have you guys used Dot view that much? I've not had a chance to try it out.

Not really, but there's a test to see if the dot view sensor is working on.
Wave a fridge magnet around where the HTC logo is (or would be on the case)
This will trigger the magnetic sensor and fool the m8 into thinking the dot mode case is attached.
