Help with new galaxy s6

Can anyone help? I have just got a brand new galaxy s6 and it won't switch on. I swapped to the new phone before I realised and so have only wifi access on old phone. Is there anything I can do? Live chat is offline. Thanks!

To update, the store could not exchange as I upgraded over the phone. Apparently this will be possible from next week when they are expecting a system upgrade. But customer service are sending me out a new phone tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works this time! But the store at least got my old phone up and running in the meantime.

@Cleoriff I still had my galaxy s4 (going to attempt the pain that is recycle). So he gave me an adaptor thingy (technical term) for the new nano sim to convert it into a micro sim so I could put new sim in old phone. Must say I have had great service from O2 - not their fault the hardware was wonky!

No I agree @Anonymous. I am just worried that they didn't swap the S6 there and then. It shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference how you ordered it really....

Something to do with their computer system..he said it was going to change in an update next week but if I didn't want to wait (I didnt) I needed to do through customer service. They are sending me a new phone to arrive tomorrow and collect broken one. Is that not usual?

That could work (sorry I missed that bit)...Have you had an email confirming this from CS?

Great news ...Please come back and let us know it has arrived. There are a few people on here with the S6 so you will get plenty of advice should you need it...:smileywink:
