Help S5 mini camera

Last night my S5 mini said it had a software update. I downloaded this update and 😞

Yesterday before download camera on phone was working. Found out today when trying to use camerait isnt working now.  box comes up that says Warning camera failed

I have connected phone to kies to back it up and do a factory restore and phone wont connect says it needs to be on MTP the thing saying this isnt coming on phone screen so i cant connect my phone to laptop.

First off, can you turn off, remove battery for 5 mins, then try again.....
If not done already ?

Will do that back soon I have turned phone off and on a few times but didnt take battery out.

It needs to power down fully so leave it 5 mins with battery out.

If camera still isn't working, go into:
Settings.
Application manager.
Select Camera App.
Press “Force Stop”
Press Clear Cache button.
Press Clear Data button then check camera again.
