Can someone help me with a phone issue?
My phone charges and i can hear when i receive a new email or text, but I have a black screen. My phone is charged, but I cannot see anything. I'm thinking if i need to cahnge the handset I'll lose all my text messages and voicemails. Is there anything I can do to save these if I have to replace my handset?
Is there a device a phone shop may have or any instructions I can do on the Samsung website to keep these.
Any help appreciated.

Any saved voicemails will be on O2's servers, not your phone. Your emails will be on your mail provider's server. If you have a Gmail account, your texts may be backed up to that if you have a backup app installed. If not, in future, download and install this app, which will automatically back up your texts. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zegoggles.smssync&hl=en

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum.
If I were you I would be trying to fix the black screen problem. If your phone is less than 2 years old it will still be under warranty. I would be giving Samsung support a ring and see what they advise
