Heads up - Google Play Store Carrier Billing

Can't see any posts on this so thought I'd share (sorry if this is really old news for some)

You can now purchase apps/music/video + other media from play store with the option to select your carrier as a payment option meaning your play store purchases will be added on your next bill.

Google have been rolling this out for ages across networks around the world but just noticed that o2 UK now supports carrier billing for google play.

The option for carrier billing only appeared for me today, I decided to purchase Oasis Definitely Maybe Album Remastered (44 tracks) £3.99

When purchasing your media from play store just select change payment option and carrier billing option should now show.

(Think you may need good payment history with o2 for option to show)

I'm running stock BTU Galaxy Note 3 (rooted kit-kat 4.4.2)

Thank you for sharing.

I think it's important to mention to members that acquiring such products .and having them added to a bill due later on should be carried out with care s not to end up with a large bill.

A lot like the service O2 offer called "charge to mobile"
