just recently got this phone and no notifications show on my lock screen ex.. fb whatsapp messenger etc.. anyone know how to fix this?

Go into settings >notifications and turn on for each app you want notifications for.

there all switched on but still doesnt show.

Have you got Settings>Screen Lock & Passwords​, and then turn on the Notification Panel switch?

i dont have the notification panel..

Have you rebooted the phone?

May seem a silly question but that generally cures a multitude of 'glitches' @Ryan1

You'll need to set a lock password (either a code, pattern, password) and it'll ask you if you want to see notifications on the lock screen.

ive set a pin but but no lock screen notifications?

I know some of the lock screen styles block notifications. The vintage style was one, for example, so if a different style doesn't fix it, you'll have to use an app such as https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.led.notify&hl=en but there are others to choose from too.
