HTC Wildfire - can't receive text messages

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, just a quick question, apologies if it is covered elsewhere but I couldn't see anything.

My sister has a HTC Wildfire phone on O2 pay monthly, and for a while she's been getting the low space message, and today she deleted a shed load of text messages.  She's now telling me that she's been okay sending out text messages, but she hasn't received any at all today (and from other sources she knows she's been sent a number of texts today).

I received a text from her, but she did not receive my reply.

I just wondered if anyone had any ideas what to check - on pre-android phones it always seemed fairly simple and you could get SMS settings sent back out to your phone, but now it only seems to offer this for MMS, Internet and email settings?

Any suggestions welcomed - she's getting very frustrated with it though, and it's hard trying to guess the problem over the phone...  she is able to call, and the internet is working (she sent and received via whatsapp).

thanks in advance slight_smile

I was using a Wildfire and a good phone it was too, but it didn't run well below about 20Mb storage space.

Also could she have removed the Message Centre Number by accident?
