HTC Desire C -No MMS - Please Help!

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

This is my last resort as no-one at O2 seems to want to help us!  I bought a new HTC Desire C for my daughter in August 2012.  It has never recieved MMS messages despite trying and getting settings from a 'GURU'.  I have tried getting settings off the o2 site and told there was a technical issue with the mobile number.  We resorted to a new sim card as we thought maybe due to it being many years old that it was having issues.  New sim card and same issues - have set up a new APN but it will not select the new one - refuses to select it.

Please can anyone help as my daughter and I are getting very frustrated and annoyed with it.

Many thanks in advance

Michelle

you may have already tried this but have you sent

active to 2020?

This should send a text back which you can save which should include the settings for MMS

Thanks for the replies -

  • the active 2020 number says theres been a fault unable to send settings.
  • Setting up manually works however when you go to select the new profile it will not select it
  • asking the o2 site to send the settings thru entering the number doesnt work either

we are absolutely stumped by this and I'm not completely useless with technology but this really has got me as it's a new phone and now a new sim and it still won't work!

At this point I suggest you pop into an O2 store and ask a Guru to set it up for you. It should only take a few mins and will rule in or out an issue with your phone......
