That's right, it's IFA time, and some Sony fanboy managed to get a special invitation off Sony to their press conference today at IFA 2019
I'll be there at mid-day today, and will be giving live blog type ramblings from the event.
Later on, should there be any new mobile, I'll be giving an in depth first impressions type review as well as a hands on initial preview of the next Sony Xperia.
Tomorrow I'll be at IFA on opening day, and in the evening will give a little run down of all the tech on display.
Peace out, see you at the show!

I think he should grab a few. At least two in each colour. One for him and a few for prizes on the best compliment on his latest review!

Great idea @gmarkj . I'll start composing my response now...even though I have absolutely no idea what review could be in the pipeline....

As you can imagine, it's been quite busy here today so have only just got back into hotel after a meal and drinks with the people I'm here with.
Gonna write up a more in depth review of the Xperia 5 when I get my hands on one for long term use, which i definitely will be.
It isn't compact, but it is a nice compromise between the full size of the Xperia 1, and the compacts of old... in other words it's an Xperia 1, without the added length.
It does indeed feel smaller than many phones out there, mostly because it's similar in width to the Xperia of old, the z3, z5 etc, in many ways it feels better than Xperia 1 to hold and for people with smaller hands, it's a much better option than the 1.
It's got the same guts and features as Xperia 1, only one thing is really compromise, and that's the screen, it's not 4k but in reality, it doesn't need to be on a smaller model. It is UWFHD or ultra wide full HD oled, and looks amazing when next to any display, no better, no worse but still amazing as all these Xperia oleds are.
The camera is the same 3 sensor options as the 1, nothing compromised in that field, still takes great pics, still has cinema pro and still has the super slow motion of the Xperia models...
By now you're getting it, it's exactly the same as Xperia 1... just a little smaller (the most complained about and mocked thing about X1... is how long it looks...I disagree but anyway)
For now, as its 2am here, I'll leave some pics from today as I need to sleep so I can get to IFA early tomorrow. Peace out ✌
That's a Venice and alpha using Xperia 1 as reference monitors, the colour accuracy was crazy perfect..
The h.ear range has also been refreshed, along with matching Walkmans
Apparently I've reached my forum image limit again.. I'll sort it tomorrow.
Night .

Limits haven't changed. Are you getting an error?
Edit: try again when you can and let us know how it goes. I've increased the total images per person limit, let's see if that works in your case if that's what it was?
