Hi,
I haven't for a while been able to check for any Android firmware updates on my S9 through the Settings menu. It just freezes for a while & then says the server is unavailable. Has anyone else been able? Samsung & Play updates still work ok.

I've seen this before and the issue was a faulty sim card.

The server needs to know your network and if the sim isn't sending the data, it won't work.

A workaround could be by updating through smartswitch, but ultimately, you need a new sim.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
