Going Abroad

I'm off to Egypt in May and wondered what the costs are to text and phone back home.  Do we get to use our allowance of free minutes first or are we just charged per minute?

That sounds almost too good to be true so if you have wifi in the hotel in egypt and use tugo it wont cost anything extra but if you use gsm its £1.50 a minute?

Correct, and you could get caught out receiving calls when not on wi-fi.

I've made two calls home from Thailand on the 2nd April without charges and in My O2 they just show up as my allowance with TuGo at the side, very pleased up to now.
