Gmail issue

Is anyone else having problems with Gmail (as in receiving notifications from forum?)

I use gmail 99% for this forum. All worked ok while I was away for weekend. Emails from here came in as normal.

Since 2pm today they have stopped.

I have tested it by sending myself an email from my btinternet account. That came into gmail. A friend has sent me an email to gmail address. That also came in.

So by a process of elimination, it looks as if it's O2 related??.

Just for info, Gmail is on my Note 8. Also via Outlook on my PC (set up in 2 separate accounts ie btinternet and gmail)

Just checking if anyone else is having the same issue?

Den, all my notifications from here have just started coming into spam, for some reason......

Google must have made some changes over the weekend to their spam filters. 

You'll need to mark them as "not" spam until it re-learns.

Not any issues here with Gmail but yeah the spam thing makes sense

And there they were...in SPAM!! Thanks Rich. I have made a rule on PC that they have to go to inbox.

Just checked my Note and now they are coming into inbox.  (with a big red exclamation mark next to them.)

Now now....I was on messenger to @viridis before I logged onto forum. (He had a phone I was interested in)

PS, even though I made that rule on PC, they are still going into spam, so I just keep moving them into inbox ?

I keep marking mine as not spam but they're still going in there.
It's gonna take a while to learn I guess but it does mean that a very large percentage of people must mark O2 emails as spam

It only appears to be a problem with gmail accounts.

As an update, emails from this forum are STILL going into my spam folder today!

in:spam from:forum@o2.com

That's a handy spell to winkle out mail from the forum that's been sent to a Gmail account and which has ended up being marked as Spam.
