Galaxy S8+ screen scratches

Just noticed that I have deep-ish scratch just off the middle of the screen. Not sure when or how it was caused.
I do have insurance the premier insurance through o2 so was wondering if it was worthwhile using the insurance to get this sorted.

Had to happen a few days before ordering a tempered glass screen protector!

Any help is appreciated.

Yes you can claim but you have to decide if the damage is worth the excess it will cost you.
Unless it's real bad, you won't see it when the screen protector is on anyway.....

I think it might be deep enough where a screen protector wont cover it up.
Will give customer service a call tomorrow and decide how I will proceed from there.

This is the first time I've had scratches. My S6 Edge had no protector and is in pristine condition. No idea how this scratch happened so yeah I wouldn't tempt fate.
