Galaxy Note 2 problem

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi, I have been having problems for the past few days with my handset.

When making and receiving calls the speaker keeps crackling and cutting in and out. It is not a network problem as I have tried it in various places with full signal and have had no problems. I have tried calling landlines as well and the same problem occurs which leads me to think there is a problem with my handset?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Repair it is then I am afraid. You have a 24 month warranty of samsung handsets, your choice is either direct with samsung or with o2 repair centre.

Samsung are more likely to fix it but O2 will replace the phone if not fixed the first time.

For reference people on the other end of the line can hear me, I just can't hear them most of the time so It's definitely the internal speaker.

Yep the external speaker is fine, videos and music play as normal.

Oh and I can take calls using headphones fine, it just seems to be the internal speaker.

The only thing to do from your end is to back up your data and do factory restore.

Is the firmware upto date?

From what you've said you've tried it sounds like hardware. If steersy's suggestion doesn't help I'd get it back to Samsung for repair.
