Foreign Simcard

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I have recently moved to Guangzhou China, bringing my Samsung Galaxy phone with me. The company whom I work for has kindly given me a local chinese simcard, however, I have been unable to use this simcard when I inserted it into my phone.

I was thinking that perhaps my phone is blocked and that I required a PUK code but after searching on the 02 website it seems that PUK code is useful when you've locked yourself out of your actual phone.

If anyone can offer any advice that would be much appreciated !

Thanks,

Stewart

You can do it from the "manage device" section of your MyO2 or see the community help here http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-Services/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-ca...
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
