I have an S7 bought from Carphone Warehouse. Due to it not having O2 firmware I cannot get WiFi or 4g calling to work as the option is not there in the device settings.
If I flashed the device with O2 firmware from Sammobile would it work?

Got it.
I get why it would need to be removed given the current standpoint of flashing and warranties, but a 180 on a previous veiwpoint should be implemented with a warning/advance notice surely?
Would it not have made more sense to post on the thread or at least link to the post to warn of impending doom? At least then concerned/interested parties could make personal copies for future reference.
And given the inclination for some to personalise their device at least a simple guide should reduce the instances of user generated error...

Mate, I'm livid.... I can't talk about it right now.
This was something that O2 asked for many years ago and which took a long time to write.
I wouldn't bother with any more guides as someone may just come along and delete them.
