Firmware

I have an S7 bought from Carphone Warehouse. Due to it not having O2 firmware I cannot get WiFi or 4g calling to work as the option is not there in the device settings.
If I flashed the device with O2 firmware from Sammobile would it work?

Cheers

Yes you can flash it with o2 firmware but make sure it’s the same or higher version otherwise you will trip the Knox fuse.

Easiest way is to look at the release date but also check the PDA.
Post the revisions up here if you’re not sure.

Hi MI5....thanks for the feedback. Can you be more specific please? What's PDA and do you mean release date of firmware currently running on my device?

Sammobile will give you the release dates and versions but
I can’t look now. If you can hang on till later I’ll check the latest releases and get back to you.
